I’m not sure about that because DPTool enhances individual performance when some application softwares still can: Microsoft office.
Please make them simple for me to understand.Thank you!

"Application software" is a more general term that can apply to any computer programme that is intended for use by the end user. The term "System software" refers to programmes that make the operating system go, regardless of what you want to achieve.

The term "Desktop productivity software" usually refers to the set of user applications that do typical document authoring, editing, and preparation. Examples would be LibreOffice, OpenOffice, KOffice, and even Microsoft Office. Desktop productivity usually means word processing, spreadsheets, slide shows, simple drawings and illustrations. Even email and chat programmes can be included.

Reasons why working for my last employer sucked

1)Owner was a salesman with a high school diploma and a bad tattoo. I graduated near the top of my class in International Business. If this guy can start and run a company why am I working for him? I should be working for myself.

2)Owner demands the impossible and is out of touch with operations and employee motivational factors.

3)Shifts people around to do 2 jobs for the price of one.

4)Small company with nothing to offer except horse and carrot promises, lip service and “big talk”. Promotion = Fancy title/name change. Except no raise for you sucker.

5)Using MS Office and MS Windows software from 2003! Still on Windows XP!

6)Computers, Printers, Networks ALWAYS crashing causing huge delays affecting service and productivity

7)Makes easy things difficult via hierarchy and people procedures. Too much fat for a small company.

8)Spent tens of thousands of dollars on horrible software without even so much as consulting the employees who are forced to use this terrible software every day. Yet claims his company is ‘different than all others’.

9)Ultra strict credit terms. Constantly harassing customers for payment everyday even over $10.00 one day past due.

10)Demands all billing 5 days out as priority over service. This increases downward pressure on already burdened employees. Out of touch with day to day operational factors.

11)No raise in 4 years for his best employee of a key office. Without her that branch office would not exist. Yet she is taken for granted and given no raise while employees come and go.

12)Horse and carrot shareholder scheme to motivate employees which he calls “executives” (in title only) with an illusion. There will be no retirement pay from this shareholder scheme whatsoever and the “executives” are fools for believing otherwise.

13)Company has absolutely nothing to offer which distinguishes them from their competitors.

14)Owner went out of his way to make sound running your own business difficult, unachievable, high, and mighty. “Corporate this” and “Corporate that”. Let me tell you something. There is not one damn thing my ex employer did that I could not do myself. A business is nothing but it’s clients and:

a) A piece of paper .
b) rented office
c) Faxes printer’s scanners computers etc (you can get these off Craigslist).
e) And finally CUSTOMERS and outsourced support (lawyers, CPA, etc). He always make is sound like running your own business was some kind of all powerful complicated thing you would need 50 million dollars to even think about starting.

Number 5 and 6 sound awfully familiar…. LOL…

You already know the answer… good for you to leave this trap behind and get out.

Please awnser quickly! Would you be abil to recommend and gaming computer that is within my budget of 1200 or less?

HP or the Asus. Dell is out first off. The HP only has an I5 but it should be the better choice due to the 12Gb of RAM and 3GB video card. Unfortunately its not DDR5 but its not as pricey either.

I’d say HP on this one

PS. Ignore the first answer about the dell.. that guy is obviously not knowledgeable. Dells mostly used with their servers. Their not so good with desktop and laptop performance.

I am taking a class called info systems and literacy.
I have been using computers for years including microsoft products so i know how the stuff works. We have the option to test out. It is a beginners class but it is required for my major but if i could test out that could speed up the process of graduating.
Here is the class description:

This course introduces students to information systems and literacy concepts that are needed in the day-to-day academic course of study. Basic skills are developed using library, research, and office productivity software. Students learn computer file management by organizing, managing, and printing files; creating, editing, and formatting documents using a word processor; planning, developing, and validating basic worksheets such as editing cells and employing formulas using a spreadsheet; building basic slide presentations using headings, key phrases, notes, and displaying the presentation using presentation software; applying user-level security such as selecting passwords and securing the desktop; and using email to send and receive messages and attach documents. Information literacy concepts such as accessing information using library databases and the Internet and evaluating sources to determine validity and reliability of material are also part of this course. NOTE: A basic understanding of computer systems is recommended before enrolling in INFO 1001. The 1.0 credit courses WORK 1310 and WORK 1320 are suitable preparation for persons with little or no computer experience. They focus on a very basic introduction to microcomputer usage and computer programs. The online sections of INFO 1001 are not recommended for students who have a weak foundation in computer use. Students who do not use computers or the Internet regularly should consider taking the course in the traditional classroom format.

she also mentioned that we would need to know how to embed a table from excel to word and know about absolute and relative formatting. If anyone has some tips to refresh my memory or ideas of what you think i need to know to pass this, help me out please! She said it shouldn’t be too hard so we’ll see how much i really know! Thanks!

The course description that you’ve provided indicates what you’re expected to be able to accomplish in order to pass it. You’re expected to display a certain level of competency in the following types of application programs: word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software and database management system software.Considering the questons that you’ve asked, you’d be better off taking the course and learning from it.

If you are a real estate professional, read on.

What features are you missing in your current real estate software for publishing properties in your portfolio, or what software features would allow you to boost your business or productivity?

What software do you currently use to publish your properties on the internet, and how do you make sure that the correct audience gets informed about your new property?

If you’re thinking of breaking in to the industry, then you’re up against some very, very stiff competition.

Most web hosting services (Ubertor, MyRealPage) etc have set themselves up for a huge following. There’s different layouts to choose from, functionality varies etc and the prices are tiered and reasonable. If you have the manpower and the advertising dollars to afford to start a new one, go for it!

Each service isn’t perfect. I hate the way photos are displayed on one service. I also hate the way the information is displayed. On the other hand, showing a "walk score" of the building/unit is great for people who want to know what’s around the area for convenience purposes. The most annoying thing is how difficult it is for 90% of programmers/web designers to use the service. In fact, the service has a list of approved vendors it works diligently with. If you’re not one of those vendors or use one, then good luck trying to design the pages without running into major issues. I hired my own designer who I work well with and he could only manage to do 30-40% of the design work because the programming and functionality was limited to those who know the service well and how to work around it – monopoly much?

As for "software", it’s not called software. It’s not a program you have on your computer. You go to a link, log in to your site and manage your listings from there. If you want, they’re linked to your board number so when your listings pop on MLS, you can download it directly to your site so you’re not manually re-entering stuff. There’s no magic or additional charge etc. Flat rate fee for usage.

There is no way to get your listings or properties to the "correct" audience. If that were the case, we wouldn’t have so many search engines, MLS.com etc and there would be just a magical way to have flyer drops to specific buyers etc – dream on!

Most agents will agree that real estate software is a bunch of mumbo jumbo. People have their own databases managed via Excel or Access or Maximizer etc. Actual software like Top Producer has been, in my opinion, an absolute waste of money and a complete money grab.

HAPPY BIRTH DAY GOOGLE
Google Inc. is an American multinational public corporation invested in Internet search, cloud computing, and advertising technologies. Google hosts and develops a number of Internet-based services and products,[5] and generates profit primarily from advertising through its AdWords program.[6][7] The company was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, often dubbed the "Google Guys",[8][9][10] while the two were attending Stanford University as PhD candidates. It was first incorporated as a privately held company on September 4, 1998, and its initial public offering followed on August 19, 2004. At that time Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Eric Schmidt agreed to work together at Google for twenty years, until the year 2024.[11] The company’s mission statement from the outset was "to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful",[12] and the company’s unofficial slogan – coined by Google engineer Amit Patel[13] and supported by Paul Buchheit – is "Don’t be evil".[14][15] In 2006, the company moved to its current headquarters in Mountain View, California.
It has been estimated that Google runs over one million servers in data centers around the world,[16] and processes over one billion search requests[17] and about twenty-four petabytes of user-generated data every day.[18][19][20][21] Google’s rapid growth since its incorporation has triggered a chain of products, acquisitions, and partnerships beyond the company’s core web search engine. The company offers online productivity software, such as its Gmail email service, and social networking tools, including Orkut and, more recently, Google Buzz and Google+. Google’s products extend to the desktop as well, with applications such as the web browser Google Chrome, the Picasa photo organization and editing software, and the Google Talk instant messaging application. Notably, Google leads the development of the Android mobile operating system, used on a number of phones such as the Motorola Droid and the Samsung Galaxy smartphone series’, as well as the new Google Chrome OS,[22] best known as the main operating system on the Cr-48 and also, since 15 June 2011, on commercial Chromebooks such as the Samsung Series 5[23] and Acer AC700.[24] Alexa lists the main U.S.-focused google.com site as the Internet’s most visited website, and numerous international Google sites (google.co.in(14) and most visited site in India, google.co.uk etc.) are in the top hundred, as are several other Google-owned sites such as YouTube (Alexa:3), Blogger (Alexa:6), and Orkut.[25] Google also ranks number two in the BrandZ brand equity database.[26] The dominant market position of Google’s services has led to criticism of the company over issues including privacy, copyright, and censorship.

Love U Google
