Please tell any software from where I can block the Social networking site on my LAN?
My client want to block the social networking sites from his server , is there any tool to block such sites so that his employees can have good productivity

And it can be done using squid proxy i guesss(in linux)….

Why not use web filter software? http://www.aobo-porn-filter.com But they are NOT FREE. You can add the websites you don’t want to visit to blacklist or just set keywords to block websites. And it works in stealth mode, and won’t show in the task manager. It has password protection so that no one can change your settings without password.
Sorry I don’t know how to block them by LAN
