Which open-source software has most improved your productivity/working experience as a professional?
It’s a cross-platform question. And It’s not limited to GPL’ed projects – there’re plenty of other open-source licenses.
I know, this question belongs to sites like slashdot. But I seek answers from people who are not necessarily programmers or have a degree in CS.
